• Avoid direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight will cause leather to fade. Heat can age leather prematurely and may cause it to crack.
• Avoid extreme temperature variations. Do not place your leather sofas close to heating or air conditioning outlets. Extreme temperature variations can damage leather. Heat can age leather prematurely and may cause it to crack.
• Avoid exposing your furniture to direct airflow from air conditioners.
• Avoid using sharp and pointed objects on the surface.
• Any spillages to be wiped with dry cloth immediately.
• Leather will have a protective top coat. The use of any household substances will break down this protective top coat over time. Do not use wet wipes, household cleaners, soaps, solvents, water, alcohol etc.
• As standard care, dust weekly with soft, clean and dry cloth.
• Periodically it is advised to condition the leather, engage or seek professional help here. Conditioning the leather will help to control cracks, discoloration stains etc.
• It is advised to buff leather upholstery with a microfiber or soft cloth, as this will make sure the leather keeps shining
